Fill-Boss is the first "Automated" counter pressure bottle filler that is affordable enough to be purchased by home brewers but strong and fast enough to be used by nano and micro brewery operations as well. It is built like a tank from laser cut and formed 12 gauge 304 stainless steel. Fill-Boss is microprocessor controlled, so it fills bottles and growlers to exactly the right level every time, just by pressing one button! The simple design can be used for nano and microbrewery operations as well as brew-pubs that want to add inexpensive bottling and growler filling to their operations.

This is our latest release Version 3! This third generation filler has been completely redesigned with a new control board that utilizes the latest 32-bit processor technology as well as adds an LCD display that allows a much more user friendly interface for setting parameters and options. A simple to use rotary button allows all functions to be easily configured using a simple menu system displayed on the LCD. Even more exciting is the new automatic bottle detection system that detects when you load a bottle and starts filing automatically, eliminating the need to press the button each time a bottle is loaded. This is a great feature which improves productivity, especially when using multiple units in parallel. The new filler also uses new electric valve designs with Viton seals that are more resilient to acidic and caustic beverages as well as provide faster fills.

New Version 3 Features
  • 32-Bit Processor with future wi-fi capability
  • 16 character x 2 line LCD display provides needed information during filing and allows easier configuration of operating parameters.
  • Rotary push button switch provides a great user interface for setting parameters and controlling the filler.
  • Auto bottle detection feature automatically starts filling when bottle inserted.
  • Improved bottle fill detection circuit for more reliable auto fill operation.
  • Stronger spring allows for higher operating pressures.
  • New valve designs are more resilient to acidic and caustic beverages.
  • Faster fill speeds with higher flow beverage valve.

The innovative spring loaded adjustment system can adjust to most bottle sizes, including 1.5l wine bottles and growlers!

Fill-Boss Features and Benefits
  • Spill free automated counter pressure filling.
  • Handles bottles from 8 to 14 inches tall and 5 inches in diameter.
  • Maximum fill pressure is 30 psi for standard beer/wine bottles. Max pressure is lower for growlers and other vessels with larger openings.
  • Handles bottles with openings from 0.75" to 1.25" with supplied silicone bottle seal (larger sizes with standard drilled rubber stoppers - not included see description below)
  • Bottle non-carbonated or fuly carbonated beverages from 5 Gallon Cornelius Kegs (Cornelius Keg, CO2 tank, and regulator required but not included) or from your brite tank or other storage vessel. (Note: This device does not actually carbonate your beverage. It allows you to fill bottles and growlers with a carbonated beverage with minimal foaming or losing carbonation)
  • Programmable Fill Speed.
  • Includes Ball Lock connectors and tubing for Ball-Lock Cornelius kegs or 1/4" NPT Threaded Quick Connect fittings for connecting to other vessels.
  • Contact us for special connections for Sanke Kegs and Brite Tanks. We will find a way to connect to your vessel!

We've received calls from a prospective customers asking "what is wrong with these units?" Why are they 1/3 the cost of other automatic fillers? The reason Fill-Boss is less costly than other options is that it was designed from the ground up to be an affordable and reliable filler. We use the Fill-Boss in our brew-on-premise operation daily and it has never hiccuped! One Fill-Boss commercial customer reports a 3-1/2 day payback when he switched to Fill-Boss! Yes, it is for real!

Brew-Boss Accessory Port Mounted CIP (Clean in Place) Ball

CIP stands for "Clean in Place". Professional breweries use this technology to clean their brew tanks as obviously you cant carry a 15 barrel brew kettle to a sink to clean it!

This CIP ball assembly is flow matched to the Chugger and TopsFlo pumps we supply with our homebrew systems. It attaches directly to the accessory port on the Brew-Boss 10, 15, and 20 gallon kettles. It allows you to clean your kettle after a brew session very easily. No more lifting the kettle and carrying to sink!

Cleaning Process for the Brew-Boss System:
1. Pump all wort into your fermenter until the pickup tube in the kettle can no longer suck liquid as you normally would after a brew session.
2. Use a wet/dry shop vacuum or wet rags to clean the trub (debris) at the bottom of the kettle.
3. Spray the inside of the kettle with a hose fitted with a strong stream spray nozzle to remove as much debris as possible from the heating elements first then from the sides of the kettle.
4. Once you accumulate 2-3 gallons of water, pump the dirty water out of the kettle into a drain or gravity drain the kettle.
5. Using the hose with spray nozzle again, spray the inside of the kettle, heating elements first, until the water level is about 1 inch above the heating element.
6. Turn on the heater to 75% power using the power slide bar in the Brew-Boss app.
7. Install the Brew-Boss Accessory Mounted CIP Ball to the accessory port.
8. Wait for the water to get quite hot (130-150F), and turn off the heater.
9. Add appropriate amount of PBW (powdered Brewery Wash) or other cleaner to the hot water.
10. Place the cover on the kettle and make certain the valves are wide open.
11. Turn on the pump. The CIP ball should begin spinning inside the kettle and spraying water all over the inside.
12. Let the pump run for 5-10 minutes or until no debris is visible inside the kettle.
13. Pump the dirty water out of the kettle into a drain or gravity drain the kettle.
14. Using the hose with spray nozzle again, spray the inside of the kettle to rinse the cleaner out of the kettle.
15. Pump the rinse water out of the kettle into a drain or gravity drain the kettle.

The above process seems complex only in the number of steps, but it is basically doing the same few steps over and over. The benefit of this method is the kettle never needs to be lifted or tipped over and no manual scrubbing is rarely necessary.

Brew Boss - Hops Filter/Spider

Brew Boss - Hops Filter/Spider

http://www.brew-boss.com/product-p/hb-filter0616.htm

Hops filter basket. Keeps hops sediment out of your wort. Filter is constructed of 100% 304 Stainless Steel and is 6" dia x 16" tall with brackets that hang on the side of most brew kettles. It works as a stand-alone unit or with the Hops-Boss unit as well (see picture). This filter fits 15 and 20 gallon kettles only when used with the Hops-Boss as it is too tall for the 10 gallon kettle, although it can be set on the bottom of the 10 gallon kettle and used as a stand-alone filter.
