DESIGNED FOR BREW-BOSS KETTLES

This durable Tri-Clamp pickup tube is constructed of beautiful polished 304 stainless steel. It attaches directly to the Tri-Clamp ferrule on the Brew-Boss kettle using a Tri-Clamp gasket and Tri-Clamp Clamp (included).

It allows you to drain nearly all of the wort out of your kettle without tipping the kettle and disrupting the trub on the bottom. Mount this between your kettle and valve or between your kettle and pump. Includes pick-up tube with 1.5" Tri-Clamp ferrules.

This kit includes the pickup tube and the gasket and clamp required for installation to the kettle. It does not include a gasket and clamp for the exit end of the pickup tube.

Hops filter basket. Keeps hops sediment out of your wort. Filter is constructed of 100% 304 Stainless Steel and is 4" dia x 10" tall with brackets that hang on the side of most brew kettles. It works with the Hops-Boss unit as well (see picture). Note: This filter is designed for the 10 gallon kettles or for full batches in the 15 and 20 gallon kettles. It will not work for 5 gallon batches in the 15 gallon kettle nor 10 gallon batches in the 20 gallon kettle. We also offer a 15" long hops filter that will work for smaller batches in the larger kettles.

The basket is wrapped with 300 micron stainless steel wire mesh.

This product is manufactured especially and exclusively for Brew-Boss!

It features an integrated 1.5" Tri-Clamp ferrule as well as an integrated L6-30P twist lock plug! Never has it been so easy to convert to electric brewing. No longer do you have to figure out how to enclose your heater element to make it safe. Any L6-30R twist lock receptacle will connect to this element or use the Brew-Boss Heater Cable for a perfect fit.

This heater requires a 1.5" Tri-Clamp flange on your kettle (all Brew-Boss kettles have this flange welded on). If you are converting to electric or have another brand of kettle, you can add a Tri-Clamp flange by having one welded on locally or by using our Weldless 1.5 Inch Tri-Clamp Bulkhead Adapter.

The element is constructed of shiny 304 stainless steel and will look like new for years. it is an ULWD (Ultra Low Watt Density) element, so no worries about scorching your wort.

The element itself is 14 inches long and the ferrule is a 1.5" Tri-Clamp. Please order the clamp and gasket separately as they are not included with this item.

The Brew-Boss COFI filter is an exciting new patent pending technology that optimizes the efficiency of Brew-In-A-Bag (BIAB) type brewing. The filter is manufactured from 304 grade stainless steel mesh which holds the grain during the mash process, but allows water to flow through.





A central infusion tube, that is perforated with a series of flow-matched holes, extends all the way to the bottom of the filter.




During the mash cycle, water/wort is continuously pumped from the bottom of the kettle to the top of the filter, into the central infusion tube, where it is forced through the grain bed. Water passing through the grain bed flows out of the filter to the bottom of the kettle. This Center Out Forced Infusion (COFI) technology assures that all the grain is in constant contact with the mash water and that there are no dead spots. No stirring is required as the system is self agitating and efficiency is thereby optimized. The COFI filter is also very easy to clean, simply invert it in a sink and spray it with your sprayer! Because it is made of stainless steel, it will not rust and will last indefinitely.




The central infusion tube is also connected to a false bottom. After mashing is completed, the elbow fitting at the top of the COFI filter is exchanged with a lifting ring. When removing the filter, the filter is lifted by the lift ring. This brings the false bottom towards the fixed cover, allowing the weight of the filter to squeeze the grain. This squeezing action extracts much of the trapped sweet wort from the grain.
